ART DIRECTION

Marina is a Brazilian musician. For this photoshoot, my main references were icons of bossa nova and MPB, music styles that shaped Brazil in the late 1950s and 1960s. It was important that the pictures resonated with Marina’s musical style while still making reference to Brazilian culture. For colors, I chose green and warm tones, bringing a tropical feel and recalling artists such as Nara Leão and Elis Regina.
